Industries is interested in buying
all grades of aluminum foil. We recycle bare, plastic
laminated and paper backed aluminum and copper foils.
Laminators
and Packaging Companies - If you produce this type of
scrap, we can set up a long term
recycling program for your company Material can be cuttings, on rolls, baled or boxed. We
recycle material from about 18% aluminum content up to 100%
aluminum. If you have bare foil on steel cores we can remove
the foil and, if necessary,
return your cores. We can also handle your
paper and plastic scrap rolls.
Recycling
Companies and Scrap Metal Recyclers - If you have access
to laminated or bare foils, we are a solid market for your
material. Simply send us a
sample (about one square foot) to : Connecticut Metal Ind.,

phone number and details on the volume of material available
and we will reply promptly with a quote.
Post
Consumer Foil - As North Americas leading recycler of foil
from curbside collection programs, we work closely with
Municipal Recycling Facilities and processors to set up
collection programs for this material. Pie plates, frozen food
trays and clean household and commercial kitchen foils should
be kept separate from aluminum cans and baled whenever
possible. Bales should be kept dry as this thin material will
oxidize if exposed to moisture. It is also important to keep
any iron/tin cans out of the bales as this inhibits our
melting process and lowers the value of the metal. The price
depends greatly on the cleanliness and quantity.
Historically pricing has been between $.15 and $.40 US/lb.
All foil
pricing is determined from samples. Foil can be in bales,
bricks, boxes,
or coils.
